Rob & Roger Lee Mixer

The R&R mixer is a 9 hole tournament that was created by Rob Lee, Wildwood’s former Manager and Head Professional with support from his brother Roger, who served as Greens Superintendent at Wildwood for many years.   The intent of this tournament is to provide an opportunity for members of the Men’s and Ladie’s Sections to golf together as four person teams in a Texas Scramble format.  While the tournament rules vary from year to year, typically the men and ladies take turns teeing off, they hit alternate shots, and they have various “shot-saving” options at their disposal to save strokes.  After play has been completed, the teams are invited to meet and mingle over a meal and beverages under the tent beside the maintenance sheds.  In more recent years tournament eligibility has been expanded to include spouses and lady friends of Men’s Section members.
